Scott & Samantha's love story started in college. They met their freshman year of college where they lived in the same dorm and had mutual friends. That summer they started dating.
To celebrate 9 years of dating Scott and Samantha headed up to beautiful Mount Shasta. They found a really cool, secluded Yurt and brought Levi (their beloved dog) up to just relax and enjoy some time together. Scott found a beautiful spot, next to a creek with a view of Mount Shasta. They took a couple of beers to watch the sunset and that is where Scott proposed.
When wedding planning time came Samantha's first goal was to find a venue that matched the rustic, classic elegance feel. They both wanted something outdoors, but nothing where are guests had to trek into the middle of nowhere. Deer Park Villa in Fairfax was the perfect location and the rest fell into place from there. They had the perfect feel of being among the redwoods, but with a classic, old California feel that turned it up on a notch. The retro indoor bar and more low key outdoor bar really sealed the deal. From there, they found a lot of rustic wood pieces for their decor and used farm tables to keep everything simple. Samantha wanted the flowers to look natural and they added the wow factor that she was looking for without going too fancy.
